ATB: Cocktail Dress

So the task at hand was for me to come up with something which was elegant and subtlety hiding a belly. This wasn't really an easy task for me to balance between showing and not showing that eventually ended up me with this picture, so many people may think she's just wearing a baggy dress. I did my research... and... I found that quite a number of evening gowns have a very sneaky ways of hiding that belly. One of which I found the most effective was a big flowing ribbon right in front of the dress. Also, there's suppose to be ribbons. So there's some form of ribbons.

Yet, there's still some form of weakness in me when it comes to accepting requests, and the primary reason I don't do it; it's that I tend to work outside the boundaries that has already been given me. I actually contemplated of drawing a version where she's holding a sword, guns a blazing and has the lower part of her dress torn and being blown into the wind, but that didn't fit the description at hand.

Oh well. Maybe some other time for the sake of pure artwork.

So... Uh... Incase anybody ask, caught my attention when I found his story Thief's Burden to be an interesting read as I speculated many things for the little dragonling growing in her womb. I still don't do request, and my free sketches are only done if somebody has an interesting idea which would be a fun process for me to sketch. And normally I don't sketch with their permission.
